We play in a in-line hockey league in southern Florida at night. It is still hot. The team we played the other night had a goalie who never got up on his feet. played the whole game on the ground, made some nice saves. The rink is very small, about the size of an outdoor basketball court. It's shots a plenty, kinda like fast break hockey! The thing that bothers me is that we lost to this team. My guys didn't get enough shots up to win. My question, is it cool that he never got on his feet to play the game? Would it be considered not playing for real, in the spirit of the game? would it be acceptable for me to employ the same technique. would it take something away from the game, or is it just win baby? thanks for your opinions.
